About the Doctor
M. H. Peters, Jr., D.D.S.
For the past 30 years, Dr. Peters has practiced Family Dentistry in Clear Lake, Texas. His practice has always been focused on strong family ties to the community it serves.
Dr. Peters is a member of University Baptist Church, where for 25 years he has served as team leader for the Mission Church Building Team and as a Sunday School teacher.
After leaving Memorial High School in 1963, he served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army, one in Europe and one in Vietnam. Honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant on July 4, 1969, he felt it was time for college. After enrolling at the University of Houston that summer, he graduated Cum Laude in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Dr. Peters earned his dental degree from the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry graduating with honors in 1975, where he has at various times voluntarily served as Adjunct Professor. For over 25 years he has been a Volunteer Dentist for the University of Houston Athletics and for San Jose Charity Clinic, where he also serves on the San Jose Advisory Board.
In addition, Dr. Peters is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Houston District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and other volunteer organizations in the community.
